《壁 I 避》 聲音、版畫
壁是一齣在1946年的台灣上演的社會寫實劇,導演在1949年後逃到了對岸,而劇作家/編劇在二二八過後,轉而加入了地下組織,在50年代的白色恐怖中,槍決於馬場町,結束了生命。
戲劇中的壁,是階級的壁,引述劇作家1946年當時對於其他觀眾的看完壁後的回應:「......有人認為〈壁〉並沒有提出解決的方法而對我深感不滿,希望我能謀求解決之道。可是,我只提示一個暗示與課題。只有現實的矛盾能解決,〈壁〉的問題使能解決吧。......」
劇作家的回應讓我們意識到真正存在的壁,不只是現實裡/戲劇中階級的壁,還有一面在觀眾與表演者間這面看不見的 藝術 I 社會 的壁,而此次作品便是想從這面看不見的第四面壁來討論,與回應作品/藝術家I 社會的關係。

Wall is a social realistic play staged in 1946 in Taiwan. The director fled to the other side of the ocean after 1949, while the playwright/screenwriter joined the underground organization after 228. In the white terror of the 1950s, he got shot in Ma-Chang-Ting and ended his life.
The wall in the drama is the wall of hierarchy, quoting the dramatist's response to other audiences' watching the wall at that time in 1946: "some people are deeply dissatisfied with me because they don't think that the wall has put forward a solution. I hope I can find a solution. However, I only give one hint and topic. Only the real contradiction can be solved, and the problem of the "wall" can be solved. “..."
The playwright's response makes us realize that the wall is not only the wall of hierarchy in reality/drama but also the wall that is invisible between audience and performer, society and art. This work is to discuss the relationship and to respond to the work/artist/society from the invisible fourth wall.
